What Counts, Exactly

You are billed on two things and two things only. Here is precisely what each one means.

What counts as a worksite

A worksite is one fixed outdoor location that Zelus monitors: one pin on the map with its own live conditions, its own alert thresholds, and its own notification lists. If your crew works outdoors at an address, it is a worksite.

For large properties, one pin covers one contiguous location. If crews at opposite ends need different alerts, you can split the property into multiple worksites. Most locations are a single site.

What counts as a lone worker

A lone worker is an employee whose job moves with them. Instead of watching a fixed pin, Zelus monitors conditions wherever the worker's phone goes and alerts both the worker and their supervisor.

Workers at your worksites are never counted or billed. Crews can be any size, and each site's supervisors (up to 10) manage the alerts.

If they work at a pin, the worksite covers them. If the pin has to follow them, they're a lone worker.

Pricing Questions, Answered

Are there feature tiers?+

No. Every account gets the full platform: monitoring, alerting, reporting, role-based access, and Zelus AI. Your price changes only with the number of worksites and lone workers you monitor.

Do you charge per worker?+

No. There are no crew-seat fees; the number of workers at a worksite never affects your price. Each worksite includes up to 10 supervisor accounts to receive, acknowledge, and manage alerts, and crews can be any size. Mobile lone workers are priced separately, at $5 per month beyond the five included with your worksites.

If I add worksites, does the lower rate apply to all of them?+

No. The rates are stepped, so each band prices only the worksites inside it and adding a site never re-prices the ones you already have. At 60 worksites you pay $1,000 for the first five, $25 each for sites 6 through 50, and $18 each for sites 51 through 60.

Do I need to buy weather stations or other hardware?+

No. Zelus Enterprise is software only. There is nothing to purchase, install, calibrate, or replace, and nothing to recover when a site closes or a project ends.

Can sites be added or removed during the contract?+

Yes. Add worksites when new projects start and remove them when projects close, and your monthly price adjusts with your site count. Work moves, and your account moves with it.

Is the plan billed monthly or annually?+

Monthly plans are available for project-based operations. Annual plans receive a 10 percent prepayment discount.

Is there a minimum contract term?+

Monthly plans have no minimum term; a project-based deployment can be job-costed and turned off, or moved, at closeout. Annual plans run for the year.

Do you price schools differently?+

Yes. High schools are $899 per year per high school, and that covers the whole athletic program. Worksite pricing on this page is for enterprise operations and does not apply to schools. Email sales@zelusports.com with your school count and we will send a quote.

Is customer support included?+

Yes. Support is included with every account at no additional cost, and when you reach out, you reach the team that built the platform.
