WBGT events

The Zelus system is can be configured per location, to trigger at different predetermined limits.

    Initial Heat

    Triggered when the WBGT reaches the worksite’s initial heat threshold.

    High Heat

    Triggered when the WBGT reaches the worksite’s high heat threshold.

  • A construction worker receiving a cell phone call on the job site.

    Initial Heat

    Triggered once the WBGT is maintained below the worksite’s high heat threshold for the minimum alert time. 

  • Safe

    Triggered once the WBGT is maintained below the worksite’s initial heat threshold for the minimum alert time. 

When a WBGT or lightning event is triggered for a worksite, an automatic notification is sent to the relevant workers and supervisors.

Lightning events

Reccomendations can be set for each lightening warning level and notification.

  1. Lightning strike

    Triggered when lightning is detected within the outer zone radius from the worksite address. The radius size is the same for all worksites. 

  2. Lightning strike

    Triggered when lightning is detected within the inner zone radius from the worksite address. The radius size is the same for all worksites.

  3. Downgrade

    Triggered once no lightning is detected for the inactivity alert time. 

  4. Safe

    Triggered once no lightning is detected for the inactivity alert time.

Prameters for WBGT or lightning events can be adjusted to your worksite
